I founded Smelly Projects in 2018 with a series of handcrafted art candles inspired by places I'd lived and travelled. 🧳

Always curious and exploring new mediums of creative expression, I studied Fashion at Parsons and The Art Institute of Chicago, Fine Arts and Acting at NYU, and had a career as a DJ in New York before moving to London to pursue my MA in olfactory art. 

Now, a decade later, my career and creative practice have come full circle back to fashion, having collected an arsenal of tools and experiences along the way that inform a unique perspective on design, and a genuine understanding of how different creative mediums and senses can work together.

I believe that what you wear should make you happy. (And ideally not make the planet miserable in the process.) At Smelly Projects, I invest in sustainable and ethical practices, sourcing materials responsibly and ensuring every piece is crafted with care. By releasing limited edition collections on a pre-order model, every piece goes to a loving home, eliminating the waste of unsold garments.

Often cheeky and tropical; always bright and cheerful. From the hand-drawn prints to the hand-beaded jewellery, every piece is unique, handmade and adds a touch of art to everyday life.
